Bike ride to Morar

Image
Day 15 Tuesday 30th April John is still really struggling with his back problems and can hardly walk so we are staying here until he improves. He has back exercises which he is doing and with rest as well he’ll hopefully feel better soon. I’m on Dex duty so we did our usual beach walk. We saw a lady swimming! Fair play I know I would not be trying that here in these temperatures 🤣 I don’t think the gulls could quite believe it either 🤣 Lovely seeing these horses This young bull was loving wading in the mud After our walk I decided to go exploring on my e-bike and find the silver sands of Morar. Lots of lovely scenery to photograph on the way. First I stopped at Traigh beaches. Some lovely sheep and lambs along the way  Clearly a lot of wealthy people have houses here Then I came to the Silver Sands of Morar. Beau...

Each time I found a path that looked like it led to the beach it was marked private, no right of way. So after about a mile or so we gave up and turned back. It rained the entire time we were out but I was nice and dry in my waterproofs. Poor Dex was looking a bit bedraggled! He cheered up when we got back to the beach and he was off the lead again! We did see a few birds on our walk. There are a lot of cuckoos around and we have he...
