Glencoe
Day 10 Thursday 25th April
We loved it so much at the Bunree site we decided to stay another night! The people next door who had the best pitch left the site so we asked if we could move to their spot as it directly overlooks the loch. They said no problem so we are now sat out with an uninterrupted view. Apparently there are otters but we’ve yet to spot them!
We went to the Glencoe visitor centre earlier today. Worth a quick look, they have a Turf house which was made exactly like they used to make them. The videos seemed to mostly promote the Scottish National Trust. The shop was very overpriced and super touristy. You could get a tartan scarf for £90, a bar of chocolate for £5!
After the visitor centre we drove along Glencoe pass and stopped at various points to take photographs. It was absolutely stunning 😍
Update from our campsite- we didn’t see an otter but we did spot a seal!
Yes it’s that super tiny black dot in the middle 🤣
